A 17th Century palace that preserves decorated Interiors and a rich art collection, as well as an Italian garden that creates a charming historic park in the heart of the Upper Town.
Since 1636, the Moroni family has lived in this exceptionally well-preserved building. From the courtyard, the monumental staircase leads to the noble floor: behind these doors there are halls frescoed and furnished between the 17th and 19th Centuries. The Moroni Collection preserved here, with the portraits of Gian Gerolamo Grumelli (The Knight in Pink) and of Isotta Brembati by the painter Giovanni Battista Moroni. The building overlooks a complex of Italian gardens, divided into a balcony and three terraces, beyond which the vegetable garden extends, where there are vines grown on pergola, fruit trees and a roccolo.
